Mining and Geology

The world renowned team of geologists, resource analysts and mining engineers has completed over 200 minerals studies around the world. The team works closely with clients' in-house metallurgists and design engineers to produce feasibility studies, expert reports, technical reviews audits of existing studies and operations.

Process Engineering

The team is highly regarded for its skills in gold extraction technology, pressure hydrometallurgy and SX/EW capabilities in the nickel, copper, zinc, mineral sands and iron ore industries.

GRD Minproc provides fit-for-purpose processing designs for comminution, flotation, gravity separation, leaching and refining processes.

Engineering and Design

A team of engineers and design specialists provide expertise in mechanical, piping, civil/structural, electrical and control systems.

As part of its role in the development and expansion of major resources projects, GRD Minproc has also developed expertise in establishing utility services such as:

Advisory

The team consists of high level consultants who assist clients to manage risks and increase the efficiency and profitability of their operations. Areas of expertise are risk management, operational optimisation and project reviews, as well as passing these skills to clients via structured training programs. GRD Minproc follows the Australian Standard for Risk Management AS/NZS 4360:1999.

Environmental Solutions

GRD Minproc offers technical solutions for the efficient treatment and disposal of all types of chemical, industrial and municipal waste. This ranges from the relocation of tailings dams to the development of the UR-3R Process® technology that enables sister company, Global Renewables, to process a large proportion of Sydney 's solid waste. GRD Minproc is also experienced in the design of water pumping stations, treatment plants and related facilities.

Project Animations

Customised project animations are developed by GRD Minproc to help clients visualise the impact, size and scope of projects, metallurgical processes and complex underground mining layouts through fly-throughs, working models and development sequences.

Developments

Developments seeks to assist clients in transitioning from the feasibility study to the construction phases of project development. This transition phase covers the period where permitting; State and concessionary agreements; finance; off-take (where required); partnering and contracting arrangements. Developments has the capability to deliver a tailored total project development solution to clients.
