Community
GRD Minproc is committed to developing relationships that are sustainable, harmonious and mutually beneficial with local communities.
This commitment is demonstrated through the community partnerships established in the regions in which we operate. Current community partners within the Western Australian region include:
- The Royal Flying Doctors Service
- Curtin University
- Engineers Australia WA Division Engineering Excellence Awards
An example of how GRD Minproc translates this commitment to community partnerships throughout the world is the company's sponsorship of six orphaned teenage girls in Soweto. The company contributed to the building of a home for the girls. Further community partnerships with local communities in the African and South American regions are being established.
Engineers Australia WA Division
GRD Minproc is pleased to be a partner of the prestigious Engineers Australia (WA). Engineers Australia aims to be an international leader in facilitating and promoting engineering excellence within the Western Australian engineering industry.
Curtin University - First Year Engineering Studio
Responding to the demands of the engineering industry, Curtin University of Technology developed a dedicated "live engineering environment' for first year students. The first year engineering studio was designed to allow students to develop their engineering skills in a live environment and also allow students to develop other necessary skills required for their working careers.
Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)
GRD Minproc supports the Aircraft Replacement Campaign for the Royal Flying Doctors Service. As the oldest, largest and most comprehensive aerial medical organisation in the world, the RFDS continues to provide a lifeline to those who live, work, travel and operate businesses in the Australian outback.
